Here is a new dress knitted by my aunt, it’s for Erika’s birthday.

She has a pair of very very crafty hands, her work is PERFECT!

the pattern that she used was from a Japanese pattern book, and the yarn is also from Japan.

beautiful huh?!

I love it. and Erika loves it too.

I found myself as a person who can’t work one project at a time.
I love switching projects , and now, I have 8 WIPs….

I really want to cut it down and finish few ones before I start a new project.
HOWEVER, the temptation on trying new patterns and yarns is just hard to resist!

Do you have the same problem as mine?

I am working on :

1) the Noro scarf

2) the shetland triangle for my friend, Angel

3) the pink felted bag (just need to felt it)

4) another stole: Japanese feather stole (want to try out the yarn in my stash: Rowan Rowanspun 4ply.)

5) The purple bamboo dress for my daughter (Still have the front section)

6) clapotis (using Lorna’s lace sock yarn)

7) Clementine Shawlette for my friend, Ziemon

8) Drop stitch lace tank top

And I also have many great projects on queue…….

Give me more time, Please…!!

Finally I finished the back of the dress, I was so slow!!!!

Oh well, luckily, the pattern is kind of easy to knit, so, it won’t take too much to think and knit!

Here is the picture of Erika’s dress, it’s the heart section of the back.

I love this color: lilac, and the touch of the yarn, it’s just so soft and also quite ‘elastic’ too.

The pattern that I am using is from the magazine Anny Blatt for Layette and Enfant. They have lots of patterns inside, and I chose this dress for Erika, as I think, Erika looks like a baby boy, so, I better knit something more girlish for her, so that she will look more like a baby girl. :)
