The Argosy is done.
I finally finished the Argosy for my friend, Josephine.

I made few mistakes at the end of the scarf, but honestly, I really didn’t know where I started to screwed up.
ANd I didn’t have the mood to rip it off and knit that again. SO, I will stay the scarf like that, I hope Josephine won’t mind those little mistakes.

At the same time, I started to make another one for myself, it’s so beautiful.
I had the Lorna’s Lace Lion and Lamb at home, so, I started to knit with this charming yarn.
Oh , I fall in love with this yarn!! it’s a mix of silk and wool, so soft and silky…

I love [japanese yarn] + [Argosy]

yeah, Japanese yarn again : Olympus Chante, mixed of camel and wool.

A very soft and curly yarn. I love it.
It works so well with Argosy pattern.

It’s not solid color, it’s a mix of ivory, pale brown and pink colors. Very subtle and soft the tone that it fits my friend so well.
Yeah, I am not going to knit this for myself, it’s for my friend’s Christmas gift.

She is now in Hong Kong, so, I have to rush this project ,and hopefully I can mail it to her on time.
The pattern is free and I think I will knit one for myself by using silk garden , because I love multicolors by Noro Silk Garden, they give you surprises while knitting.
lovely sea silk
I am falling in love again, yes, with the sea silk…

After I finished the Shetland Triangle with the Merino yarn, I started another one with handmaiden Sea silk.
IT’s sooooo beautiful.
Touch: soft, silky….
result: looks extremely shiny, elegant, luxury with lace pattern. Unlike the merino wool, the yarn is very strong and won’t ‘curl up’ on the edge of the shawl. It’s firm and inelastic, I like the result of that, it looks great!
This yarn is beautiful, with its brilliant shimmer, and relaxed drape, I am sure it will look great for this shawl pattern!
I made this for my best friend, Angel. I wish she will love it!
Handmaiden Sea silk: bought this from our local store, Romni Wool Ltd.
Colorway: Bronze.
Pay It Forward Exchange!
I’m SO EXCITED to be a involved in the Pay It Forward Exchange! I found out about it from Jackie’s la la za za and I am happy to join this PIF!!
Let me tell you about it, these are the instructions:
“It’s the Pay It Forward Exchange. It’s based of the concept of the movie “Pay it Forward” where acts or deeds of kindness are done without expecting something in return, just passing it on, with hope that the recipients of the acts of kindness are passed on.
So here’s how it works. I will make and send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment to this post on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I do not know what that gift will be yet, and it won’t be sent this month, probably not next month, but it will be sent (within 6 months) and that’s a promise! What YOU have to do in return, then, is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.
I will now Pay It Forward to you THREE, I wonder who you will be?! Please, be a PIF You will enjoy it just as much as we do!”
And, remember…you have 6 months to get your gifts done! Come on, you know you would love to be one of my angels. Then, one day, but you don’t know when….you will get a gift that I have made especially for YOU!

here is a gift knitted by Angel (my very best friend), she spent some time on knitting the middle section (boring section), and also the crochet squares with flower in the middle for the top and bottom edge of the blanket.

(I actually received this long time ago, but didn’t have time to take picture for it. Right now, I am going to show you how nice it looks with Erika!)

I really appreciated her effort and kindness to make this for my baby Erika, my baby is just so lucky to have her to be her “God mother”.

Angel is knitting another booties for Erika as well, it’s really cute.

We are looking forward to see her wearing this pair of cute booties.
Thanks, Angel!
