I am going to CHINA very soon (as mentioned in my previous posts), and I want to destash my knitting books / yarns (very few of them) here.
Please contact me either through email (lillian dot yanyan dot wong at gmail dot com) or leave a comment here or through Ravelry.
I prefer PICK UP (I live in Markham area), or if you don’t mind to pay for the mailing cost, then, let me know, and I will calculate the cost for you.
If you need a picture of the book , let me know and I can do that for you. Because I am going to save up some time on picturing, I just list out the titles with author’s names. (All books and yarn are in good condition)
All prices are in Canadian dollars. Thanks.
(you can pay me by cash for PICK UP , and paypal for mailing service.)

This fabric is one of my favorite ones that I shopped in downtown Toronto. (Designer’s Fabric Center)
It’s not cheap though, but, I was willing buy it just because I want to use it to make a handbag for myself, and may be a little garment for Erika. (not for selling this time.)

This bag’s pattern is from a Japanese template (by Clover.)

another view of the bag
The template thing is just so handy and I can trace them directly to the fabric.
I can make as many bags as I want to by using the same template.
And there are a-h (total 8 styles) different bag styles in one plastic template..
so, what’s it?
Go HERE to take a look, I bought the template from this online store.
COOL, right?
This store ships the products directly from Japan, and the good thing is that it’s quite fast the shipping and the packaging is nice.
It will be great if God gives us 12 more hours a day. I mean, 12 hours FREE to knit and sew. haha.
It’s tough to knit and sew quietly and peacefully while Erika is awake, and she seems like need more attention now…
Oh well, I can still manage to knit and sew a bit.

The Cable bag for myself
Recently, I am working two knitting projects: one cable bag from Debbie Bliss Family knits book, and the other one is a vest for Erika. This vest pattern was improvised from a Japanese pattern. I love the cable pattern from the bag in DB book, so I used part of the pattern for this vest, it looks good.

The Cable vest for Erika
The yarn that I used for the cable bag is Japanese yarn, and the one that I am using for the vest is Malabrigo silky merino. Ha, sounds funny, a Japanese yarn for a western pattern, and a western yarn for a Japanese pattern. I think this is called East meets West / west meets East knitting project!

The front and back of the vest.
I will post the picture tomorrow as I am a bit tired now to pick up the camera and shoot them. (at the same time, it’s lack of light source now… and I don’t like using flash… !)
Erika was quite fussy on eating few days ago, she ate less, and kept on spitting up the food that I fed her.
But, somehow, after two days like that, she was back to normal again.
My mom said that it’s probably of the teething again, and that made her uncomfortable to eat well.
hm… thanks God that this tough stage didn’t last too long, it really drives me crazy that she didn’t eat well.
As a mom, I always want her to eat, sleep & pee/poo well.
RIGHT?
GRAND OPENING!!
I know, many of you are waiting for my etsy store’s grand opening , right?
yeah, it’s time to start it.
As my friend Angel said, I shall put some up and see how the response is …
and guess what, after a few minutes of the opening, I already received a great response from Karen.
She ‘featured’ my store in her blog!
How amazing!!
God blessed!
I am so happy and delighted to see her message and take a look of her article.
I am very happy with this jacket, how about you?

I think Erika loves it too, she adores the buttons the most.

and more…
