Last package from Fall Ewe swap

This package should arrive earlier , but my swap parnter made a mistake on mailing.

SO, this was delayed for few weeks.

It’s ok, because the package is full of surprises.

with yarn, coffee, calendar, knit with beads pattern book, pattern for sewing, fabrics, treats, tea, cd, a t-shirt for Erika…

I forgot to post the 2nd package of my Fall ewe swap.

And the other swap that I received is from COFFEE and CHOCOLATE swap (RAvelry’s) 

as you can see, there are TONS of things inside the package:

hand made (x 2) coffee cup warmers, and fabrics, stitch marker, tea, chocolate, coffee beans, yarn (from Classic elite) and patterns. Wow. full of surprise there… and so did Erika, she was so curious on everything there… haha

OH , look at my palm, it’s soooo dry… 

No matter how much hand cream I use, it’s still like that.

Oh well, I think, once we move to Hong Kong, my skin will be better, because it’s very humid in Hong Kong. And the water is “soften” , not “hard water” anymore…

While I came out from the bathroom this morning, the door bell rang…. I was so surprised ( so did Erika!)

It was a package from Delena (from Knitter’s treasure swap)!!

hand purse for swap partner

I could finish a knitted purse for my swap partner in just two days.

THe purse is really simple to knit, it’s a cable purse with circular bamboo handles. I also added a lining for the bag as well. Moreover, I also used the magnetic closure for the bag, it looks more professional…

I like this pattern with the beautiful Manos wool, the yarn shows the cable patterns perfectly. 

I was actually knitted another cable bag for her, however I chose the wrong yarn (Debbie Bliss Ralto) , it’s too soft and the bag wasn’t sturdy enough even though i added lining inside the bag.

So, I gave that up and remained  4 days for me to make a new one for her.

Luckily, I could find a faster /easier pattern to meet the deadline. 

And I am ready to mail it to her by tomorrow.

I hope she will love all the goodies with this purse.

my first pair of fingerless mittens

I received a pair of fingerless mittens from my SP12 pal few months ago.

And now, I want to show my first hand knitted fingerless mittens !

I finally got it done last night with some hand sewing work on it.

I love it.

I love the English mesh lace pattern, and also love the buckles on the wrist part.

However, the buckles that I’ve got from Fabricland is not as big as the one that shown in the book.

But, it still looks ok, so, I just leave it like that.

I also received two packages in past few days.

I love all of them.

The first one is from my ‘lace swap’, she sent me two skeins of wonderful handmaiden mini maiden.

The color is my favorite PURPLE!

very yummy huh , and there is a shawl pattern come with it. Also some chocolates (although they were melt …) and a very nice handcream (just great for my dry hands!)

And then, I received another package from Fall ewe swap, this was a package for September.

Two skeins of Cascade wool, some scrapbooking, card making rub on and stickers, a pack of origami paper (very beautiful) and also many treats; take a look of them, they are very special.

I have never seen the kisses with macadamia nuts!

must be really yummy.
